Kevin holds a PhD from University College Dublin, and has over 10 years of research experience in the areas of Personalization Technologies and Recommender Systems.
He has produced more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and several patents. Kevin has a keen understanding of technology, solution architecture, software development and commercialization and expertise in the areas of data analytics, machine learning and data visualization. He has been developing commercial software for over five years and has designed and overseen the development and deployment of several licensed digital platforms. He is the CTO and a co-founder of RecommenderX.

Mark is an entrepreneur who helps build businesses and create shareholder value. He is experienced in mergers, acquisitions, and IPOs. He was a co-founder and Director of Duolog Technologies, which was sold to ARM Holdings.
He is a Director and co-founder of Celtic BioEnergy, a green energy company, and a Director of CORLYTICS, a financial data analytics company.
Over the course of his of his career, Mark has raised over €320m for Irish technology companies. Mark is a Board member of NDRC and the AIB Seed Capital Fund.
John has extensive experience in growing businesses. He brings fresh views, a creative approach and no nonsense language to creating and developing real and practical business opportunities.
John has been involved in three start-ups – one based in the UK and two based in Ireland. He is the National Manager of Halo Business Angels Network and a team member of DublinBICs’ AIB Seed Capital Fund.

Mick holds a Phd from the University of Innsbruck and a Masters from NUIG. Over the last 15 years he has moved from artificial intelligence and information retrieval, through Semantic Web technologies, and on to machine learning and Big Data Analytics.
Mick has extensive experience in commercialising AI and related technologies, he was previously the Principal Data Scientist at both INM (Irish News and Media) and Amdocs

He has co-founded two companies (ChangingWorlds and HeyStaks), raised 4 rounds of VC investment totaling more than $8m. In 2008 ChangingWorlds was acquired for $60m.
He is particularly experienced in bringing IP-rich propositions to the market, and his experience as a senior academic and scientist combined with his startup expertise and business acumen provides a unique perspective on the development of high-potential startups.
Barry is also a Professor of Computer Science at University College Dublin where he heads up the INSIGHT Centre for Data Analytics.
Mark was formerly the Country Managing Director of Accenture in Ireland from 2005 to 2014.
Mark completed a 32 year career with Accenture having joined as a Science graduate of Trinity in 1982. He played numerous executive roles in Accenture delivery strategy, technology and business change programmes.
He is currently on the Board of Wells Fargo Bank International and the Abbey Theatre. He was previously President of the Trinity College Business Alumni from 2008 to 2010. He also served on the Board of the National Concert Hall from 2005 to 2011.
Michael O'Mahony PhD
Michael received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from University College Dublin in 2005. Subsequently, he was employed as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the UCD School of Computer Science and has been a Lecturer in the School since 2012.
Michael's research has focused on the areas of recommender systems, reputation systems, social Web search, real-time Web and user-generated content analysis. This work has included developing reputation models to enhance information discovery on the Web, leveraging real-time Web data as a new source of recommendation knowledge, and applying machine learning techniques and opinion mining to inform product and review recommendation. Previous work considered the robustness of collaborative recommender systems against attack.
Michael has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers in his areas of expertise. Michael is a Funded Investigator in the Insight Centre for Data Analytics.
